Brothers J and Drew watched The Old Guard, a surprisingly rich and satisfying action movie experience. J thought it was better than Captain America: The Winter Soldier, a view Drew deems damnable.

Risen from the ashes of an episode thought lost in December 2015, enjoy Brothers J and Eric discuss Good Night and Good Luck. In addition to gushing about the film they also discuss traumatic training, Ms Swan, journalism, ethics, and the politics of 2015 – pre-Trump and pre-Covid. It was a simpler time.

On your left! The villain wears a lower face mask and has grown his hair out Covid-style; Captain America: Winter Soldier is one of Drew’s favorite movies. J and Eric liked it too. Eric tried to yadda-yadda the action scenes but Drew disallowed it. Along the way they discuss anthology series like Two Sentence Horror Stories and Black Mirror, Peter Lorre, Power Records, appropriate condiment storage, Zach Snyder, and The Dead Zone.
Housekeeping starts at 1:22:05 and includes discussion of “This Is How They Tell Me the World Ends: The Cyberweapons Arms Race” by Nicole Perlroth, Underwood Chicken Spread, SPAM, Vienna Sausages, and sous vide.
