War for The Planet of the Apes was not the movie we thought we wanted but was arguably the movie we needed to end our nine movie POTA arc. All in all the last three movies (Rise, Dawn, and War) are perhaps the best trilogy we’ve seen. Change our minds!!

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes lived up to the hype (an impressive feat) !!!! The brothers also discuss The Americans, Dexter, Quantum of Solace, Chappaquiddick, Veronica, Veronica, Adrienne Barbeau, Murder on the Orient Express, Dune, IKEA, the Nintendo Switch, and Eric misidentifies the director of The Crazies

Rise of the Planet of the Apes did something the rest of the Apes movies have failed to do: make us eager to see the next in the series.

Along the way the brothers also discuss Rebecca De Mornay, Dirk Gently, the Autopsy of Jane Doe, Mercedes Benz ass fires, Kevin Smith’s heart, Bruce Willis’ Death Wish, Stephen King’s Drunken Fireworks, Waco, American Crime Story, voice activated trash cans, trash vs garbage, and the Owl Dash Cam.

Chinatown is one of Eric’s favorite movies, or so he thought. The brothers throw a bit of shade, quite convincingly. Along the way the brothers discuss Jim Rockford, Philip Marlowe, The Ghost Writer, Magnum P.I., other reboots, Blade Runner, LA Confidential, The Big Sick, the first two Fifty Shades movies, the audiobook Artemis, the audiobook Dead People Suck, the art and hassle of editing audio.
