Brothers Drew and Eric discuss the 2024 film Smile 2, the follow up with Smile, which we loved (and discussed in episode 496). Eric like this as much but Drew found it unsatisfying. Drew wanted an exploration of the universe that he did not get. Eric loved the main character enough to forgive the film for not aiming higher.
Housekeeping begins at 41:01 during which they discuss their own inability to remember to which movies they’ve devoted an episode, unnecessary sequels, anticipating seeing Revenge of the Sith in a theater, raising kids, and The Pitt .
