The Brothers Anderson watched the 2017 TV movie The Saint so you don’t have to. Really. It was way more fun to talk about that to see.

They talk about the history of The Saint, the Emmanuelle movie series, the Miami Vice television series, Extraction, the “I, Podius,” podcast, breaking death news, the audiobook “Andrea Vernon and the Corporation for Ultrahuman Protection,” Hail Caesar, Escape from New York, Big Trouble in Little China, Mother Anderson’s old car, and eye care.

Brother J thought Parasite was as tedious as a poorly done sit-com. Eric and Drew liked it quite a bit but evidently Eric was rooting for the wrong side.

Along they way they discuss the fictional dish Ram-don, Eddie Rabbit, the joy of not watching Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and more pandemic chit-chat.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is the last in the series but a bridge too far for Brothers J and Drew. Eric thinks you can do worse.

Along the way they discuss Bob Dylan, “We Are The World,” Flula Borg, Lights Out with David Spade, siafu ants, Ghost Image, Booksmart, EPIX’s War of the Worlds, and voice actors.

The global pandemic continues with comfort-watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.  Except that it wasn’t very comforting. It has some solid action scenes and it’s beautifully shot but it’s darker and much less pleasant that Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Along the way they discuss James Bond, the COVID-19 pandemic, vegan strip clubs, Boober Eats, Pitfall vs Loderunner, amd Sanimaster 4 by Tim Mello.

There are few better ways to avoid thinking about a global pandemic than watching 1981’s Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The brothers discuss important questions such as

a) Is Indy a straight up pedophile?

b) How long can a tangent about growing up in the 80’s last?

c) Does Eric really not know very much about the Bible?

d) What ever happened to Gary Glitter?

Housekeeping or just total breakdown into permanent tangent-land begins about 1:10:00

Watch Knives Out. Just go watch it. The episode with wait until you are done. Skip to the housekeeping first and come back. It’s a good movie, a fun whodunit, and we spoil it. But it’s great.

Spoilers start at 30:00 and end when Housekeeping starts at 1:09:39

Along the way Eric takes an angry colorblindness tangent from 36:26-42:39

They also discuss the podcasts “Stay F Homecast” and “Off Book the Improvised Musical Podcast,” Togo vs Balto, “The Amazing Johnathan Documentary” on Hulu, “ALWAYS AMAZING: The True Story of the Life, Death, and Return of Amazing Johnathan” on YouTube, and “The Life and Death of Phil Hartman,”

Brothers J and Drew take on what they thought was a stoner comedy and ended up being a stoner action movie: American Ultra.

There’s also a bit of global pandemic talk since that’s a thing.

Due to the global pandemic it might be a good idea to revisit this gem from July of 2017.

Glove up folks, tonight’s double feature is Outbreak and Contagion. Eric loved Outbreak, Jason liked it, but Drew HATED it. Contagion, however, proved to be a hit with all the brothers.

Drew tells an Agent Orange Story from 31:00 to 39:00
Contagion talk begins at 43:00
Jason has a car story at 1:30:00

The brothers reference Richard Preston’s “The Hot Zone,” and “Demon in the Freezer,” World War Z, The Real Wives of Orange County, Spaulding Grey, and the Weekly Infusion podcast.
